Pernament Vice-chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Tran Son Hai on April 7 had a meeting with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the provincial Tourism Association.

In the first three months of 2016, rise was seen in all norms of tourism. The province received more than 925,000 tourists (a 13% rise year-on-year), including 272,000 foreigners (21% up). Tourism turnover hit VND1,575 billion, 24% up. Chinese led the number of foreign visitors with 105,000, a four-time rise year-on-year.

Tran Son Hai asked the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to host and coordinate with related agencies in inspecting services for international tourists, coordinate with tax agencies in checking tax payment of travel firms and hotels, intensify management on tourist guides, etc.
